The Honorable House of Representatives and Chairman House Committee on ICT and Cyber Crime, Lado Suleja has on the 26th of June joined the entire Nupe community in celebration of the World Nupe Day as he arrived in Bida on Saturday.
The honorable who arrived at Wadata Palace at Bida this afternoon stressed his respect to His Royal Highness, Dr Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, CFR and Chairman Niger State, Council of Traditional Chiefs, also recognized the support given by the royal highness.
In addition to that, Lado also used the medium to seek the royal blessings For the Lado Suleja Artist Day that will be held in Bida on Sunday 27th.

"It is my pleasure to be here today. I rejoice with the entire Nupe for this year's World Nupe Day. So an immeasurable blessing for me and the people of Bida. We pray to witness more of this in good health and abundant wealth."
"I so much appreciate the Royal Highness, the Etsu of Nupe for his fatherly support and timely assistance. May we be able to pay you the goodness you shower us. May you reign longer, BagaDozhi," he prayed.
The World Nupe Day is an annual event that is held to mark the great day in which the native local African army defeated Great Britain back in 1896 in the then, Bida Army Camp, Udi. It is also a day to appreciate the richness of Nupe culture and celebrate the ancient heritage, both physical and spiritual.
At the ceremony, Lado Suleja presented an 'Exceptional Royal Father' award to the Etsu which was to compensate his efforts and recognize his relentless work in ensuring peace and unity among the Nupe in the world.
Also present at the festival is Galadima Raba among other title holders of Kinnupe, The Etsu of Nupe applauded him for all his efforts towards impacting humanity.
