How to treat those who work for you

How do you treat those who work for you?

Assalamu alaikum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh.
All praise is due to Allah the lord of the world.
Complete blessings and salutation be upon Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, his Household, and companions Ameen.
After praising Allahu subhana lahu wata'ala and sending salutation upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.

I want us to learn a lesson from the Hadith of Anas bin Malik, how Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam treated him as his servant.

Hadith on Manners: Anas testifies to the character of the Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi wasallam.

Anas Ibn Malik reported: I served the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for ten years. By Allah, he never even said to me, “Uff!” He never said harshly for anything, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?”
Source: Sahih al-Bukharī 5691, Sahih Muslim 2309
Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

The point I want to raise here is how do you treat those who work for you?
Imagine Anas was given to Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam as a servant by his mother and he said he served Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for ten all years, By Allah, he never even said to me Uff! to me.(not one day he passed a comment that hurts me, not once). I sat and think for those who work for us, how do we treat them? Do we make a comment that hurt them? When we ask them to do something that is very easy and it will not take them a minute to do and they take ten minutes too long, what do we say? We might say or make a little noise like Uff!, AHH! or something similar to these, what do you think you're doing? If we make a little noise, we're not practising the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.

He continue and he said He never said harshly for anything, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?” Anas said, one day I was sent by Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam to do something, as I was going, then I saw young boys of my age playing a game, so I stayed and I joined them and later, I forgot what I was told to do, a while later, someone just tapped me on my shoulder and I looked back to see who the person was and it was Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, he smiled at me and he said, "Ya Unais, did you forget what I told you?" I replied No, Yarasulullah sallahlahu Alaihi wasallam I would go now Ya rasulullah salallahu Alaihi wasallam and I went". In other narration Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam went to do it by himself.
Salallahu Alaihi wasallam.

I want us to draw a lesson from this, imagine you sent your boy to do some necessary thing for you and you later saw him playing a game, suddenly you tapped him at his back, what would that boy think of? the boy might say, "I'm death!!! I have lost my job.
What would you do?
Are you going to beat him, shout at him or sack him completely from the job, take a look at what Prophet salallahu Alaihi wasallam did to Anas Bin Malik, he smiled at him and said to him Ya Unais(he added love and respect to Anas name by calling him Ya Unais), did you forget what I asked you to do? How many of us is ready to follow this beautiful example of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
Anas said: Wallahi I served Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for ten all years:
He had never ever slapped me and He had never swore or said anything bad against me.
My brothers, my sisters, I want us to learn a lesson from these, look at the Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam with Anas Bin Malik, serving him for 10 all years, he had never slapped him, he had never swore on him, he had never asked him why did you do this, why did you do it this way? He would do it by himself with a smile.

Let us sit and think of those who work with us or those who work for us, Had we ever slapped, shouted or swore on them? If we had ever slapped, shouted and swore on them, we're not showing a good example of the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
As Allah subhalahu Wata'ala said in the Qur'an 33 verse 21
Indeed, you have to learn some perfect examples in the life of Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for those who remember Allah for those who are looking forward to meeting Allah subhanalahu watallah, those are looking forward to the Hereafter, there is example in Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.

Here he didn't swear
words for those who worked for him, never did he shout at them and never did he slap anyone.
May Allah subhanalahu wata'ala guide us to the straight part and protect us from the evil deeds. Ameen.
